This is a club where members can join submit their B&W GrayScale and Sepia Tone art.
And lovers of B&W art if not a member can view some of the great B&W art out there

Not only is it for photos.
But also for poems written into a black and white photo.
Drawings will also be accepted.
Photos in colour will not be accepted.
The only colour accepted is colour in the text, and the border.
It doesn't matter what Kind of art it is.
Animals, People, City, Nature, Funny, sad, nude.
Anything at all is accepted.

How to join
I you were a member when #Black-White-Club was a Club, you will need to click on "join" to become a member again.
You can apply to be a member or a B&W Biggest Fan.
Everyone is accepted as a Member. But Only a limited amount will be accepted as a Biggest B&W Fan, Please dont be offended if you are not accepted as one if you apply for it.
If you which to apply for this, please add a link to three (3) of your best B&W art you have in your gallery.


Submitting your art
To submit art, you need to be a member or higher. Then go to the Gallery. Click on the "Members Art" folder to submit your art.

If you would like to suggest someone elses art to be submitted to the group, click on the "Art you have suggested" folder and send to there.
Remember when you look at peoples art. There is now an option there to suggest it to a group. If you come across someones art which you think should be in here. Thats the best and easiest way to do it :D Remember to suggest it to the "Art you have suggested" folder though :D
This folder is strictly ONLY for other peoples art you have suggested. If you try and suggest your own art to this folder, it will be declined on the spot.


What will be accepted

  • BWC is for the best B&W art out there on dA.

  • We have pretty high standards here on BWC.
    If your art is not accepted please accept that.

  • If your art is not accepted you WILL NOT be sent a reason explaining why, as this has been taking up so much time.
    How ever if you do want a reason why you can do the following.
    :new:A ) When you send your art in, in the message you get a message saying it is waiting for approval. There is an option there to leave a comment. Click on that, then leave a comment saying "If declined I would like to know why please"  
    :new:B ) If your art has been declined you will get a message saying it says been declined. Once again in there you will see an option to add a comment. Add a comment saying "Please let me know why this was declined"
    If you do this. One of the admin will get back to you letting you know why.

  • Please be very picky about what you send in, if you really dont think its that good, what makes you think we will?



Rules
Only B&W and Sepia tone art will be submitted.
Only the best art will be accepted. ( Think of BWC as an art gallery where you come to find the best art. )
We ask that only ONE dev per week be sent in
You art can be of any Media Photo/ drawing craft/ poems written on a BG of some kind, what ever you like.
If your art is submitted to the photography gallery in dA it must be a min of 400 pixels on the smallest side
Please follow all the rules so you are not disappointed if your art is declined.

I'm am so sorry for our recent decline in productivity, but please allow me to explain what has happened recently.

All join requests to the members group are auto accepted, but it takes four votes to accept or decline any piece submitted. We have not heard from our founder, Tepara, since the beginning of the year. The few admins that still are active in the group are not enough to get all of the submissions through, and they sadly expire. Any art that has expired can be resubmitted, but since there are only three fully active admins, we cannot guarantee that they will be accepted before they expire again. We have been trying to contact Tepara for a while now, but we have not heard from her. We are trying our hardest to keep the group running in the absence of our founder, but we do not have the ability to promote more admins to keep the group running. We are now trying to contact DA staff to see if one of our senior admin can be promoted so that we can bring in new admins to be "trained" so that we can keep the group going.

Really dunno what's going to happen with the group since are hands are tied since Tepara called all the shots - accepting admins, prolonging the time needed for art to expire, lowering the number of votes needed and stuff.

I encourage you to keep on submitting and we'll try our best.


Sorry for all inconvenience.

If any of you guys knows the admin responsible for Groups system - let us know.

Also - please, if your art gets declined, and not expired, don't ask for reason. I know it's hard to not know why you art has been declined but we can't even vote properly since there is no enough admins which implies that we cant give reason for every declined work. Sorry.

well, now it makes sense so 'ill stay of course!
Next time the group should wrte a journal earlier to explain or you colud lose members!!
About the title of the journal, may I suggest something like "Administrators will be back as soon as they can" ..?
I don't wanna be the one who teaches the others, but if members are people like me, busy, with no much time to read, they won't stop and read such important things!!
